Service Description

Throughout life, from the very beginning, through both the difficult and the joyful, our experiences shape our body and form our personality. From many years of working closely with the body, I have developed my own way of listening to and supporting the body’s natural intelligence. My work is rooted in the understanding that the body is not only physical. It is also emotional, neurological and highly energetic. Through my own encounters with pain, healing and the process of returning to the body, I have learned how profoundly sensitive and intelligent the human system is. This understanding brings a particular depth, presence and compassion into session. The Signature body therapy session is a deeply restorative treatment that works gently and respectfully with these deeper layers of our being. The session consists of attentive and precise touch that allows the body to become aware of long-held muscular, deep tissue and nervous system patterns. As the body begins to feel safe, it often settles into a deeper state of rest. Breathing may change, something softens, and the body can begin to release long-held tension. Sometimes this happens quietly as deep relaxation, other times through natural responses such as sighs, warmth, small movements or emotional release. Over time this state of safety and trust, can teach the nervous system to shift from survival mode into a state of regulation and repair. ​The Signature Session is for those who are seeking more than relaxation. It is a therapeutic space where the body can unwind deeply and reconnect with its natural intelligence and increase its capacity for healing. Each session is intuitive and guided by what your body communicates in the moment. I recommend that you wear comfortable and soft clothing during the session, which often begins with a conversation, followed by the body therapy.
